Ten Years Old!

This month, my blog celebrated its tenth birthday–June 17th to be precise. Yes, it would have been good if I had noted this on the day, but what can I say? I missed it. Oh well!

Here’s that first blog post. Not particularly earth-shattering, but this is not really an earth-shattering kind of blog. Just a place for me to talk about stuff that matters to me and hopefully entertain, educate, or edify y’all.

If you’ve been a regular visitor for some or all of these past 10 years, THANK YOU! As I always say, writers write to be read, so if you hadn’t been reading there would be little point in me writing.

If you’re an occasional visitor, or this is your first visit, thanks for stopping by! I hope you find something of interest, and if you don’t, leave a comment to let me know what interests you. I may have something to say about that… or not. I’m always open for blog post ideas that might fit my brand, whatever that is (silly ex-Brit ramblings, or something).

And whoever you are, don’t forget that all this content is free. No Patreon special content for people who pay, or stuff like that. But if you would like to say “thanks” in a more tangible way, you can make use of the Ko-Fi “Tip Me” link on the bottom left of the screen (or click on this link: www.kofi.com/colindsmith).

Hi, Micki! Thank you so much!! 🙂 BTW, I finally got around to reading ADRIFT last year. While the marine setting is not one I relate to, I enjoyed the story. Some great twists and interesting characters. Loved the reference to the TARDIS, too! 😉

Ten years! Doesn’t time fly… Congrats 🙂 (And is that an eldest daughter culinary creation? Yum)

Doesn’t it just? Thanks, AJ! No, that’s not one of FirstBorn’s creations. I’m sure it’s well within her powers, however. Mmm… 🙂
